Our Vehicle Platforms
Stellantis’ multi-energy platforms are engineered for flexibility. Designed to meet evolving market demands, regulatory requirements, and customer needs, these platforms are scalable, efficient, and future-ready to support over-the-air (OTA) upgrades and next-gen technologies.
We offer four BEV-native platforms: STLA Small, Medium, Large, and Frame plus dedicated platforms for Smart Cars and Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs). Each is built to deliver exceptional performance and flexibility across segments.
Our platforms reduce complexity and support economies of scale with the capacity to produce up to two million units per platform annually.
STLA Medium
Ideal for C- and D-segment passenger cars, crossovers, and SUVs, STLA Medium offers up to 750 km (466 miles) of range (WLTP) and supports hybrid and plug-in hybrid propulsion. Designed for fast charging, efficiency, affordability, and driving enjoyment.
STLA Large
The industry’s most flexible multi-energy BEV-native platform for D- and E-segment vehicles. With 400V and 800V architectures, it delivers up to 118 kWh of energy, 4.5 kWh/min charging, and 0–100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 2 seconds performance.
STLA Frame
Engineered for full-size trucks and SUVs, STLA Frame supports Internal Combustion Engine (ICE), hybrid, BEV, and Range-Extender Electric Vehicle (REEV) powertrains. It offers up to 1,100 km (690 miles) of REEV range, 800 km (500 miles) BEV range, a 2,700-lb (1,224 kg) payload, and 14,000-lb (3,650 kg) towing capacity.
Smart Car
Built for B- and C-segment vehicles, the Smart Car platform combines modern features, spacious interiors, and affordability. Available with BEV, hybrid, and ICE powertrains, it’s designed to meet diverse global needs.
Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs)
Our LCV platforms offer scalable, sustainable solutions across compact, mid-size, and large vans featuring ICE and BEV options for commercial customers.
