Innovating to Deliver Safe and Reliable Products

Safety is a top priority at Stellantis, integrated into every phase of the product life cycle, from design to manufacturing.

Our priority is to ensure safe mobility, provide crash protection, and apply cybersecurity standards to protect user data. Through AI, we aim to produce even more reliable vehicles with the ability to continuously update our products.

Committed to Developing Safe Products Worldwide for Our Customers

We use GenAI to redefine safety on board and enhance vehicle interaction

Artificial Intelligence helps us drive safer, smoother, and more intuitively. Our vehicles combine advanced safety systems with AI-powered features that support drivers in real time in ways such as alerting them to risks, optimizing energy use, and offering personalized driving tips.

In an emergency situation, connected services provide fast support, while voice assistants help drivers interact naturally with their vehicle. As GenAI evolves, vehicles will become even more responsive, offering smart navigation, real-time updates, and helpful interactions that make every journey easier and more secure.

We protect user data

We leverage advanced technologies to prevent intrusions and cybersecurity breaches across the entire vehicle life cycle, from development to disposal. We apply specific cyber protection on every new car design, electronic component and on offboard platforms for connected vehicles.

Additionally, Stellantis works to ensure that personal data is kept confidential and processed solely for valid purposes in compliance with law. Stellantis’ Data Protection Policy and procedures safeguard the data subject’s rights against potential data misuse, preventing economic loss and discrimination.

We improve quality by leveraging AI

By leveraging the latest in AI technology, we are able to boost innovation in manufacturing, delivering sustainable products that comply with today’s highest standards. AI control stations are deployed globally to achieve the highest product quality, with a strong focus on optimized defect detection. For example, automated AI systems are already active in most European paint shops, identifying surface issues with high precision at key stages in production.

We power reliable, data-driven predictive maintenance

With predictive maintenance, connected vehicles can now spot early signs of wear and alert drivers before issues arise. Customers receive timely, easy-to-follow advice through their app or in-car display, helping them avoid unexpected breakdowns and keep their vehicle in use when it matters most. These insights are powered by algorithms trained on real-world scenarios and continuously refined for accuracy. Each alert is part of a complete support system: from data validation to dealer readiness, designed to provide clear guidance and fast, effective service when action is needed. Predictive maintenance features are activated only with the user’s consent.

We monitor customer fleets

We continuously monitor customer fleets and mobilize our worldwide network to identify, prevent and address issues effectively. Nauto Cloud services applies Artificial Intelligence for advanced driving systems on over 800 commercial vehicle fleets in the United States, saving money and protecting lives.
