Stellantis annonce un accord pour la cession de l’activité d’autopartage de Free2move à Mutares

Amsterdam/Munich – Stellantis et Mutares SE & Co. KGaA (« Mutares », ISIN : DE000A2NB650) annonce aujourd’hui avoir conclu un accord portant sur la cession par Stellantis de l’intégralité de sa participation dans l’activité d’autopartage Free2move à Mutares. La finalisation de la transaction est prévue d’ici fin 2026, sous réserve des conditions de clôture habituelles.

Free2move offre des solutions d’autopartage de courte et longue durée, accessibles 24h/24 et 7j/7 via son application mobile propriétaire. Free2move exploite l’une des plateformes d’autopartage les plus diversifiées sur le plan géographique, avec des flottes réparties dans 14 villes en Europe et aux États-Unis.

Cette transaction s’inscrit dans la stratégie définie par le plan FaSTLAne 2030 de Stellantis. L’entreprise applique une approche rigoureuse de l’allocation de son capital, en concentrant ses investissements et ses ressources sur les régions, les marques et les technologies offrant les meilleures perspectives de création de valeur.

Avec la signature de l’accord d’acquisition de l’activité d’autopartage Free2move, Mutares crée une nouvelle plateforme dédiée au secteur de la mobilité. Son projet prévoit notamment une gestion renouvelée de sa flotte internationale, la poursuite de la transition vers des véhicules 100 % électriques ainsi qu’une attention portée à l’expérience client et aux besoins des collectivités en matière de mobilité urbaine.

En tant qu’entité indépendante au sein de Mutares, l’activité d’autopartage Free2move devrait bénéficier d’une plus grande agilité, d’investissements dédiés et d’une flexibilité opérationnelle accrue, lui permettant de poursuivre son développement sur un marché de la mobilité particulièrement concurrentiel.

La finalisation de la transaction reste soumise aux procédures d’information et de consultation des instances représentatives du personnel concernées, à l’obtention des autorisations réglementaires requises ainsi qu’aux autres conditions habituelles prévues par les dispositions légales et réglementaires applicables.
